Methods and Teaching Philosophy

The goal of C6MA is not only to raise seller and sales manager skill level through engaging and challenging learning sessions, it is to teach revenue producers how to think and apply what is learned.  To ensure everlasting applications and impressions, C6MA focuses its training methods not only on the what, but also on the why.

Instructor led training (ILT) will always yield the best results, but market realities suggest video teaching effectiveness is crucial for skill development success.  C6MA is experienced and highly effective through both modes of instruction...in-person and through video channels.
 
A heavy use of scenario-based role-playing is utilized by C6MA and is exercised in manners both formal and informal.  This technique promotes strong thinking development to occur and mature inside sellers.
 
Assignment of "pre-work" and homework is often used to drive individual thinking and accountability.  For example, “Come to the next session with a list of your top three qualifying questions for your upcoming meeting with a key client - and be prepared to explain why you think those questions are the best ones to ask.”
 
All participants are formally surveyed prior to training to gauge and benchmark skill competencies, and to provide insight to group and individual learning needs so C6MA can customize its approach and lessons. 
C6MA is passionate about teaching sellers how to improve their skills and how to think, and bases its methods on decades of successful, proven techniques.  C6MA's teaching philosophy is based on six ingredients necessary for learning success:
  1. Content: materials, situations and scenarios used in training are highly relevant and derived from every-day life.
  2. Participation: involvement amongst participants is democratic - everyone is engaged, and everyone is challenged.
  3. Frequency: sessions are regular and exercises are routine, which maximizes learning effectiveness.
  4. Challenging: scenarios and exercises can be rigorous, yet #5 is always in effect…
  5. Fun and positive: positive reinforcement is actively utilized in a setting that is actually….FUN!
  6. Accountability: everything including participation, engagement and especially learning is accountable.
