'22 Clinch Goal Setting Protocol Development
Hello, I'm excited that work has begun developing a Goal Setting Protocol (GSP) that fits Clinch, and your specific needs for your team. This page has been created to prep you before our zoom session so our time together can be efficient and productive.
Mike G. and I are very interested in learning about your thoughts and opinions and therefore ask that you think about your answers to the questions below:
1. What worked successfully, and didn't work, about any of the GSPs you used in previous companies?
2. When thinking about your team, what are the one or two (or three) goals that you can think of right now that must be included and measured? (While the process of creating goals will contain some democratic elements, you as the manager should be starting to think about "standards" and "foundational" goals that need to apply. Please be as specific as possible.)
3. Other than specific goals (covered in #2), what other elements do you want to see included in the protocol? (Again, this is probably based on your past experience and could cover anything from program structure, measurement timing, measurement criteria, to...whatever you can think of!)
4. What do you anticipate will be your challenges activating and managing a GSP for your team?
Our upcoming scheduled zoom is not your only opportunity to contribute thoughts and requests about our GSP, but certainly your input on the above questions will give us plenty to chat about when we visit.
Thank you,
Michael Hess
